About the Show

From this Dream, you will not want to wake! Tempest Theatre is gathering Pixies, Nymphs and Imps (and maybe an Ass) to shake up ol’ Shakespeare’s romantic comedy. In this modern and fully animated re-telling, young lovers flee oppression, The King and Queen of the Fairies passionately argue about the natural world, Puck sprouts from a mushroom with a love potion, and a rag tag theatre troupe explains it all to us. This madcap midsummer adventure is a must see, blending romance, rebellion, and transformative wonder.

Seating for this show will be through the gardens, so blankets or lawn chairs are strongly encouraged. A special dinner feature will be optionally available before the show–check back for more details.
