Our 2019 Pantry Share program will be bringing you wonderful scratch-made preserves from the Similkameen to the Okanagan Valley and Lower Mainland. (We will not be shipping individual shares… canning is heavy and it’s not worth the cost to you.)
We might be at Farmers Markets, at like-minded retail partners or even at other share member’s homes, but you’ll have plenty of opportunity to pick up your goodies. The frequency will vary by location, with exact dates and locations of all pick-ups yet to be determined (and informed somewhat by our final number of members in each region) but will likely include no fewer than the following number of pick-up opportunities between mid-June and late-November 2019 where we will come to your area and offer a window of time for you (or a trusted friend) to come pick up the latest portion your preserves:
- Keremeos (anytime we’re open)
- Penticton (monthly)
- Kelowna (at least four dates)
- Vancouver (at least four dates)
If you’re from outside these communities but are interested in a share, please get in touch and we’ll see if we can accommodate you where you are. It improves your odds significantly if you can convince others in your community to also sign up.
If you are unable to attend any of these pick-up opportunities, you are welcome to send someone on your behalf (just email us to let us know). If you live in Princeton, Keremeos, Osoyoos, Oliver or Penticton, you are welcome to come visit the Grist Mill and Gardens anytime to pick up a portion of your share, but please note that not all products are available at the same time and your whole share will not be available at once.
