Concert: Barney Bentall

July 19 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm PDT

Artist Bio

Barney Bentall has been a fixture of the Canadian music landscape for more than three decades—from his chart-topping days fronting The Legendary Hearts in the ‘90s to his deeply personal solo albums that blend roots, folk, and storytelling with grace. A Juno Award winner and lifelong collaborator, he continues to evolve his sound through projects like The High Bar Gang, BTU, and The Cariboo Express. His latest release, Cosmic Dreamer, recorded largely during the pandemic, finds him in a more reflective, stripped-down mode—songs shaped by family, memory, loss, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. Whether on his own or with friends, Bentall brings a rare kind of warmth and wisdom to the stage, inviting listeners into a musical journey as intimate as it is enduring.

Concert: Boxcar Campfire / Paul Pigat

July 18 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm PDT

Artist Bio

With his Boxcar Campfire project, acclaimed guitarist Paul Pigat trades his trademark rockabilly swagger for a more introspective, acoustic sound—full of dusty highways, wistful melodies, and old-time charm. Best known as the frontman of Cousin Harley and a Gretsch-endorsed virtuoso, Pigat blends blues, folk, and early jazz into a style that’s uniquely his own. Whether crooning about lost love or picking through delicate melodies on a vintage guitar, Boxcar Campfire reveals the quieter side of this genre-hopping talent. Concert: Showman & Coole

July 4 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm PDT

Artist Bio

SUPER-DELUXE FIDDLE, BANJO, AND SONG

Through twenty years and a couple of thousand shows together in bands such as The Foggy Hogtown Boys and The Lonesome Ace Stringband, John Showman and Chris Coole have developed a deep and instinctual musical bond.  Their music lurks in a truly unique space that is somewhere on the outskirts of old-time, bluegrass, and folk. The songs of John Hartford, Hank Williams, Dock Boggs, and The Band share space with the fiddle tunes of Eck Robertson and Ed Haley. The duo’s original songs and tunes take in all these vistas and paint something both personal and timely.

They have performed across North America and Europe at festivals such as Merlefest, Rockygrass, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Mariposa, Wintergrass, Gooikroots, and The John Hartford Memorial Festival. In 2022, the duo released two albums; “ Afield” a collection of old-time fiddle tunes, and  “Much Further Out than Inevitable – A Tribute to Some Music of John Hartford.”

Concert: John Reischman & the Jaybirds

August 9 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm PDT

Artist Bio

Like the powerful mandolinist, composer and Grammy winner at its helm, John Reischman and the Jaybirds fashion a stylish take on bluegrass that seamlessly blends original songs and instrumentals with Appalachian old-time music for a truly unique band sound. Now in their 20th year, with seven acclaimed albums and two Juno nominations, the Jaybirds are simultaneously innovative and unadorned, sophisticated and stripped-down, happily old-fashioned and 21st-century contemporary.
