Beginners will need to bring a pair of 5mm knitting needles and a ball of Handicrafter cotton, or worsted weight yarn; those items are available at WalMart. Through the year, the Grist Mill hosts a series of dinners inspired by our own heritage gardens and the bounty of the spectacular Similkameen Valley. Each of these special meals is served family-style on long tables in our lovely gardens (or inside, during cooler weather), with entrees inspired by our own fond memories of cozy Sunday dinners with family and close friends. We're hosting a private event today, but our site is open for business as usual. Fortunately, with twelve acres on site there's lots of room for everyone. We might ask you to be mindful of your noise level during their ceremony and avoid sneaking into their wedding photos, but that's just common courtesy. We're pretty excited to get to be a part of someone's special day!
