Special Event: Heritage Fall Fair (10AM – 4PM)
Are you proficient at preserves, brilliant at baking, daft at crafts, well-versed at veggies or adept at flower arrangement? If so, we might have a great opportunity for you to show off your skills. We’re excited to announce that on Sunday September 23th, the Grist Mill and Gardens at Keremeos will be hosting our fifth annual Heritage Fall Fair!
There will be almost one hundred exhibit categories to see or compete in as well as heritage games of skill, concessions, entertainment and more. The whole site will be filled with family-oriented activity for the day.
Admission to the Fall Fair is $12 for adults, $8 for students and seniors.
OLD BOYS WITH OLD TOYS – ALL DAY
The fellows are back with the antique steam engines, tractors and more.
VENDOR ALLEY – ALL DAY
JOin artisan vendors from around the Similkameen and Okanagan as their sell their hand-crafted food, arts and crafts.
FUNDRAISING BBQ – 11AM to 2PM
The Grist Mill Foundation will be raising funds for their many works on site with a hot dog and hamburger BBQ, including their popular garden-fresh greek salad.
APPLE PIE CONTEST – 1PM Drop-off, 2PM Judging
Submit your best apple pie for judging by our celebrity panel of judges and win some awesome prices.
APPLE RACE – One of our favourite kids activities is our annual apple race down Keremeos Creek. Be sure to choose your racing apple by 2:15PM for our 2:30PM race down the creek and be sure to cheer on everyone’s apples.
