Come celebrate our annual Apple Day – Saturday, October 14th between 10 AM until 4 PM.
As always, season pass holders get free admission to this event, all others pay our regular admission fee ($7 / adults, $5 / students & seniors).
Join us for our popular annual celebration of the humble apple. There will be many things to see and do on site that day including:
Heritage Apple Displays & Tastings – Our volunteer group, the Grist Mill Foundation, is building another spectacular display of heritage and non-market apples to see, taste and maybe even buy (last year, we had almost 100 varieties represented!) If you have an unusual apple variety growing in your orchard or backyard, please get in touch right away!
Apple Pie Baking Contest – Our very popular contest is back again this year, your amazing pies must be submitted to our judging tent by 1:00 PM! Our celebrity judges will then choose this year’s best pie.
A variety of family-oriented harvest games will be available to play–come guess how many apples we have in our barrel (and win a prize!), learn how to juggle apples, play apple croquet and have your kids participate in our always-popular apple race down Keremeos Creek.
Our restaurant will feature a special apple-themed menu including pulled pork sandwiches, apple coleslaw, apple baked goods, mulled apple cider and much more!
This event is produced in partnership with the Grist Mill Foundation volunteer group.
